The countdown to pre season has begun! The T-shirts have arrived and work started this week on our new floor in the Sports Hall, so its all go here at the Sports Centre. Please pass the following on to your club members:
Its great to see some of you have purchased memberships already, please keep encouraging your members to buy them. Just to clarify how things are going to work in terms of letting you know who has purchased memberships - once an individual buys membership from the online shop, an email will be sent to the individual and the relevant club email account so each club will have a record of the memberships purchased. In addition, we will run reports and send them to clubs throughout the term to confirm who has paid.
Information is being sent out this week regarding individual club arrangements. The final arrangements for the week are attached, please make sure that you circulate both to your members attending pre season.
On Friday 5th September at 5pm we will be taking a photo of all pre season participants so please make sure you are all there. That evening, we will be taking over the Union for the first Sinners event of the year. Bands will be priced at £2 and the event is open to all so bring your friends! Please email James at email@example.com with the number of bands your club will require for the event. You will be able to collect them at the photo.
Give-it-a-Go sessions (Wednesday 10th September)
The confirmed schedule for the Give-it-a-Go sessions is attached.
Sinners Sport (Wednesday 10th September)
The Union have allocated us half of the tickets for Sinners in Fresher's week. These are priced £6; as we have a limited number, clubs will be able to buy a maximum of 20 tickets on a first come first served basis. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your tickets. Please remember this is an event aimed at getting Fresher's involved so give make sure it is not just existing members buying all of the tickets. The other half of the tickets are onsale on the Union website.
Saints Sport Fayre (Saturday 13th September)
All clubs have automatically been allocated a stall in the Sports Hall for the Sports Fayre. The fayre will run from 11am-5pm, with access to the hall from 10am for set up. The BBQ is available that day - if your club would like to run the BBQ as a fundraiser please get in touch.
We need volunteers to help with set up on the Friday evening, and clear up on the Saturday so please ask your committees and members and let me know of anyone willing to help out.
Enjoy your weekends,
