Hi All,

We had some great results yesterday, well done to all the teams in action. Lots of important information for you this week, please make sure you circulate it to all relevant members:

Events Working Groups:
As announced at the Club Captains Forum last week, James recently resigned as Vice President. As a result, we are setting up working groups to help with the organisation of the Awards night and Sports Ball to give club members a chance to get more involved. If you or any of your members would like to be part of a working group, please email me their details.

Academic Flexibility:
As it's getting to a busy time of year with fixtures, please make sure you are following the correct procedure when requesting academic flexibility. The form can be found at http://cmp.saints-sport.com/general-info/academic-flexibility-proforma and must be submitted to Debby (dls4) at least 14 days in advance of the event. Please contact Debby if you have any questions.

Redevelopment:
We are limited with team changing space available while the work on the new sports hall is ongoing. We will make every effort to accommodate all teams but please be aware that during busy times it may not be possible to guarantee all teams with team changing rooms. 

Kit:
Submissions of applications to be our new kit supplier will be closing next week. On Thursday 26th February we are holding a marketplace event to give Directors, Head Coaches and Club Captains the opportunity to have their say on the companies shortlisted. More details to follow.

Storage Corridor next to Gymnasium:
If your club uses this corridor to store equipment, please make sure it is kept tidy. A first aid box has gone missing from the corridor this week - please ask around your members and return it to the AU Office if found.

Families First:
Families First are looking for clubs willing to run taster sessions of their sport for groups of young people. Please drop me an email if your club would like to get involved.

First Aid:
First Aid Kit supplies are available from the AU Office. Please direct any queries or reports relating to first aid to Elaine onau@saints-sport.com
Ambulance Scotland will be providing Sports First Aid on the following dates:

Elections:
It's that time of year again! Nominations for positions open on Thursday 19th February fr a week and campaign week starts on February 27th. If you are interested in finding out more about any of the roles available, please get in touch.
The date for AU Hecklings has been set for Tuesday 3rd of March. Each club must send at least one representative. The Sabbatical Debate will take place on Wednesday 4th March.

Ties for Sandys:
If your team would like your club tie to be displayed in Sandy's Bar at the Union, please drop one in to the Union Reception.

Interclub Sports Day:
We're exploring the possibility of a Sports Day between clubs later in the semester. Interested clubs would run their own part of the tournament with teams from other sports rotating between the options. If you would like to be a part of it, please reply byFriday 27 February.

Handover Club Excellence:

The AGM/Handover Club Excellence session for old/new committees will be held next Thursday, 19th February, at 6pm in Physics Lecture Theatre B.   The session is intended for anyone in current or prospective club committees who would like to know more about the process.  Any questions can be directed to Pete on clubdevelopment@saints-sport.com.

 

Tours:

If you will be touring over the Easter Break, remember you need to get your tour approved by the Athletic Union. Travel forms for both domestic and foreign travel can be found at on the CMP at http://cmp.saints-sport.com/general-info/forms-and-files
