I hope everyone has had an enjoyable week and is getting ready to head into the festive season! Just a few more weeks now until Christmas holidays, there are a few very important deadlines coming up so please read carefully.
1) End of Year Accounts - Dec. 7th, 2pm
Final semester accounts are due in by Dec. 7th at 2pm. This should be a simple process as you all should have been updating the spreadsheets shared with you at the beginning of term. Those failing to hand in accounts will have transport and/or training cancelled. You will be notified of these cancelled sessions before the Christmas holidays. similarly, Men's Golf, Ice Hockey, Inline, Korfball, Lacrosse Men, Rugby Men, Rugby Women, Swimming have all failed to hand in bank statements with their financial agreement. These will be due with the end of term accounts, failing to hand these in will results in cancelled transport and training sessions.
2) Christmas Newsletter Submissions - Dec. 9th, 2013
The newsletters have been incredibly successful!! The final newsletter of the season will encompass both November and December with a Christmas theme. Please submit any articles you would like to be included by Dec.9th at 12pm to email@example.com
3) Car Damages
There have been several claims this season for damages and the University are concerned drivers are not being careful enough. Many of these incidents could have been avoided. Those taking out vehicles should be extra careful
4) Re-Freshers Fayre - Application Deadline Dec. 1st
It's that time of year again to start thinking about the Refreshers Fayre! This will be taking place at the Union Feb. 1st 12-5pm. It is a great opportunity for you to advertise yourselves to incoming students. Clubs are not guaranteed a slot at the re-freshers fayre so make sure you register your interest in attending at http://www.yourunion.net/activities/refreshersfayre/, download a sports clubs form and return to firstname.lastname@example.org by Dec. 1st
5) SSS Brand Ambassadors - Today
SSS are looking for some keen students to get involved in promoting SSS and Viper10 throughout their universities.As an ambassador you will gain invaluable experience in event management and a greater understanding of student sport. SSS are looking to have all the nominations in by Friday 29th November, to elect the Brand Ambassadors on Monday 9th December. Please email email@example.com if you are interested.
6) Student Activities Fund
Thanks to the Development office there has been a new fund created called the Student Activities Fund in the hopes to award funding to help support student activity throughout the St. Andrews community. Requests can range from equipment to event funding and any sports club is eligible to apply. Application forms are found http://www.st-andrews.ac.uk/develop-2/student-activities/
