I hope you're having a good week! My emails are getting longer and longer so I'll just crack on...
1) Blues & Colours Dinner and Sports Ball Committee
James Rivers, the Vice President, is starting to plan the Blues & Colours Dinner and the Sports Ball. Please email him if you are interested in being on the committee to help organise these(one committee for both events) - firstname.lastname@example.org
2) STAR Radio
We have 30mins assigned to us each week to talk about Saints Sport! Starting this Sunday at 2pm so get listening! We therefore thought it would be a great idea to get some of the clubs involved with this too - good promotional opportunity, can tell sponsors you've plugged them etc. The plan is to get podcasts of the show each week and circulate them by email, on facebook etc etc etc. Each club could then choose a song before they come on.. the fun is endless. Please see below a link to the doodle poll where you can sign your club up to do a 15min slot.
Please remember to park the cars at New Hall when you return them.
4) Driving Tests
There are still some spots available for driving tests next Tuesday (9th October). Please email Catriona asap if you want to take your test - email@example.com@saints-sport.com
5) Membership Lists due this Friday
Please can you also make sure that you have emailed Catriona a list of your external/community members by the end of tomorrow as well.
6) Greenest Sports Club of the Year Award
It's Green Week this week and as such we've launched a Greenest Sports Club of the Year Award (see the poster attached and some more information about the award too.)
7) CMP/Transport Confirmation
All clubs need to remember to check the CMP for transport confirmations. You should all know what the CMP is by now.. but just in case..
8) Accessibility to the Exec
Please feel free to contact any of the Exec at any time if you have any questions or to arrange a time to meet. All the email addresses can be found under the Athletic Union tab on this link:
Eric (Treasurer) has set office hours when you can pop in to see him these are Monday 16:30-18:00 and Tuesday 13:00-15:00
9) Outreach and Volunteering drop in sessions - 1.30-2.30pm every Monday (starting on 8th Oct)
We have set aside an hour each week to discuss volunteering and outreach sessions with you all. Feel free to drop in to discuss ideas and initiatives with us or to give us some feedback on the great work that you're doing.
All coaches, whether voluntary or paid, must return the relevant paperwork to Pete. Please email him at firstname.lastname@example.org
if you have any questions regarding this.
11) Saints Sport Monthly Email
Hopefully you all received the first monthly email that went to all students. Any suggestions or ideas to make that better then please let me know. The aim is to engage with as many of the 'non-sporty' students as possible.
Phew all done.. please can you make sure you circulate this email to everyone on your committee. Now for one of my personal favourites...
