I hope you had a fantastic time at Sinners last night. Great to see so many people out supporting their sports clubs! Just a couple of things this week.
1) First Aid Courses - 28th/29th Sept.
There are still spaces left on the first aid courses this weekend. £35 per person from 10am-2pm. You have the choice of attending either the Sat. or Sun. sessions
2) Newsletter Submissions - 2pm Sat. Sept. 28th
Final deadline for submissions for September's Newsletter is . It's a great way to promote your the things that have been going on in your clubs throughout the start of the Semester.
3) Reffin Brilliant - 5th/6ht Oct.
Reffin Brilliant Sign up has gone live on the SSS website! http://www.scottishstudentsport.com/reffinbrilliantinfo.asp. On an annual basis many universities and colleges have issues sourcing officials for the above sports - so why not be proactive and solve the problem before it arisesBasketball
This is a fantastic opportunity to make sure all your clubs have officials for the year ahead in the following sports:
4) Activate to Participate
Clubs competing in BUCS individual competitions will need to activate their email accounts with BUCS before being able to enter competitions. This only needs to be done on the first occasion, other competitions entered by individuals will not require this. Once you receive your confirmation email from BUCS you need to click on the link in the email to activate your account
5) Fixture Change RequestsAny changes to fixtures must be done through the Fixtures and Administration Manager in the AU Office. Do not contact the opposition university directly or contact BUCS/SSS
6) Financial Agreements
All of you have submitted the Financial Agreement. Thank you for that. While being a big amount of work, we hope that it helped you plan your financial year and that you were able to foresee any difficulties arising throughout both terms. For the Clubs that have significantly negative budgets this year, we have certainly taken note and are hoping that you use your agreement as an incentive to schedule a meeting with us to discuss the situation. We are here to help, but it is your responsibility to act.
For the Clubs that have submitted the missing bank statements, thank you for that. For those that haven’t, please do so as soon as possible. We cannot sign the agreement with a missing statement and you cannot therefore be considered for funding.
The procedure from now on is that we will sign complete and accurate agreements and will inform you once we have done this. Next week we will allocate the rest of the transport budget based on the information in the agreements. The new allocations will go online on the CMP once they are decided.
