Hope you're having a good week and that you all enjoyed Sinners last night! I have a few things to pass on for this week.
1) AU Question Time - Tuesday 30th October in School 1 at 6pm
Please make sure that you each send at least one member of your club (though the more the merrier) to this to question us on what we've been doing since we've come into office and also to discuss any suggestions, ideas or concerns that you have. There will be a register taken so please make a note of this date and make sure someone's there!
2) Saints Sport Alumni Network
Big plans are underway to establish a proper alumni setup for Saints Sport. Please read the attached document which outlines our plans. Maddie and I will be meeting those clubs that are interested this coming Monday (29th) to discuss the concept, current alumni links and any ideas that you have.
If you would like to meet with us then please select a time on the following doodle poll. Please do not select a time that another club has already selected:
The University of St Andrews RFC presents The MOvember Ball on Saturday 10th Nov at The Scores Hotel. This charity fundraising ball is to raise money in memory of their former captain Steve Sims who passed away from the condition ITP. The money raised on the night will go towards ITP Support Association. Tickets are £35 which includes a 3 course meal, wine on the table as well as a ceilidh band to dance the night away to. Dress is black tie and more details can be found on their Facebook event: http://www.facebook.com/?ref=tn_tnmn#!/events/542613285753886/
They only have one table left of 12 so 1st come, 1st served.
4) Your 600th and Saints Sport
Your600th needs you! This year there is a fantastic opportunity to get you and your Sports Club involved in celebrating and raising money for the Students’ Association Prize Fund as well as the 600th anniversary of the university. Aiming to raise over £30,000 for a scholarship fund, Your600th wants to show what students can do to help out the future generation. However, they need our help! Here are some the ideas we have so far:
I shall leave you with the following quote from Tiger. Classic.
"I want to be what I've always wanted to be: dominant."
Don't cause too much trouble this weekend - have fun!
