Hope you're having a good week. Good job fixtures wise yesterday - keep it up! Please find this week's bulletin below:
1) Distribution of Bulletin
Please make sure this bulletin gets sent round to all of your committee members. There's information that will be relevant to different members on different weeks so please just get into the habit of sending it round to everyone.
2) Charity Barometers
As you should now all be aware, we have 3 designated Saints Sport Charities for this year. We have decided to create barometers for each of the causes and we will make these accessible to you all so that you can see how we're progressing. The idea is for any club who wants to help support our chosen charities to then have their contribution identified on the barometer (e.g. the money raised from the Tennis Club's Charity Mixed Doubles Tournament in aid of Wooden Spoon will be highlighted on this).
3) Kukri Meetings - Tuesday 16th
There is now only one slot available to meet Nicola on Tuesday. This is from 16:20-16:40. If you would like to meet Nicola and haven't got back to me then please do this asap. A list of all the times booked in so far is attached.
4) St Andrews 600th Anniversary Sports Ball
5) STAR Poll
The show started last week and was pretty good fun to be involved with! From this week we will be recording the shows and getting them all over facebook and on the website - so please sign up to a slot on the following doodle link: http://doodle.com/96ywe2b5qe4zwb3k
6) Club Excellence
The Club Excellence programme continues with a round of Club Development Meetings between your club and the Student Sport Development Manager, Pete Burgon. Using the attached doodle-poll (http://www.doodle.com/r5npt34fgsu8e6nm), please select a 30-minute time slot for your club to meet with Pete to discuss plans for the year, raise any issues and identify areas where Saints Sport can provide support. Each club must attend one of the sessions. Any questions can be directed to Pete on firstname.lastname@example.org.
7) Saints Sport Monthly Newsletter - deadline 25th October
Please make sure you submit any articles for the newsletter to Kirstie at email@example.com
by this date. Remember that there is also a Photo of the Month competition so please also send any good photos through to Kirstie by this date as well - photos will be credited.
All Sports Club members training with their club at the Sports Centre (indoors or outdoors) MUST have a membership for the facility. This can be the £40 Club membership for these sessions alone or the £105 Fitness+ membership which also includes unlimited access to the gym and exercise classes. Any queries should be directed to myself in the first instance.
9) Noticeboard Downstairs
We now have an Exec noticeboard by the Vending Machines downstairs and this will be up and running before this weekend. We will try and get as much relevant information in there as possible so please keep an eye on that.
10) Volunteering & Outreach Drop In Session
Just to reiterate that there's an hour assigned for this on Mondays 1.30-2.30pm so please feel free to drop by for a chat.
The last set of driving tests for this semester will be taking place on Monday 15th October. There are a few spaces left and these will be allocated on a first come first served basis. You'll need to come by the AU Office with both parts of your license and sign up tomorrow!
12) Exec Minutes
Please find attached the minutes from the last two exec meetings.
And because I know you can't go a week without my weekly quote.. here you go:
"If you are running next to me on the treadmill, the answer is YES, we are racing." A. Lad
As ever feel free to drop me or the Exec a line if you need anything.
