I can't believe it's Week 4 already, not long now until the next Sinners! There have been some fantastic results already this season, it is shaping up to be a great year. This week's bulletin items are,
1) Membership Lists
Membership lists ultimate deadline is tomorrow, 11th Oct. Clubs that haven't submitted their lists by 5pm tomorrow will have training and transport funds frozen until it is handed in, so please get them to us! They should be emailed to email@example.com
2) Club Development Meetings
The attached is intended as a guide for clubs to prepare for the forthcoming Club Development meetings. While these meetings provide an opportunity to discuss any element of the clubs operation and development, it is likely that the items listed will cover the majority of the discussion. As such, your assistance in providing some sense of context for each question in advance of the meeting would be very much appreciated. It would be best if a completed copy of the attached could be returned to Pete in the AU Office a day or so before the relevant Club Development meeting but please at least bring a copy with you to the meeting. If you have any questions at any stage, please don't hesitate to get in touch with Pete either by dropping in to the AU Office or sending an e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. Please use the attached doodle poll - http://doodle.com/ctfgun5haize5eq3 - to secure a timeslot to meet with Pete.
3) Hall of Fame Nominations
Nominations for Hall of Fame awards are now open! The AU would like to recognize those who have performed at the highest level, have a close connection to the University and who also embody the Saints Sportideals.http://cmp.saints-sport.com/current-info/hall-of-fame
4) Alumni Database
The AU is seeking to build on its records of our Saints Sport alumni and, following on from requests for alumni name lists last year, Soph is asking clubs to email her at email@example.com with any and all past club membership lists you have on file - hidden in your email accounts' inbox history, or even hard copies in a committee handover folder. This database of names will then be matched against the massive University database so graduates involved in sport at St Andrews will be noted every year and your players from the past connected with the students of today.
5) Arnold Clark Cars
All those taking out arnold clark cars (you will have been given the keys in an arnold clark envelope) please make sure you are returning the vehicles to Agnes Blackadder's Car park.
6) Bank Statements
All clubs that have yet to turn in a bank statement with their financial agreement please could you turn these into the AU Office Monday between 11-1pm or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
7) Green Sports Club of the Year Award
The AU along with the environment team are running the Green Sports Club of the Year Award, this is your chance to do something for the environment and win a prize. The criteria is fairly simple; your club must have undertaken some kind of environmentally friendly project, activity or event during the course of academic year 2013/14. To register your team contact email@example.com
That is all for this week! Have a fantastic weekend.
