Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What does the time published for a fixture on BUCS/Fixtures Live actually mean?
A. Be there and ready to warm up at the time specified on fixtures live if not before... The time stated on fixtures live is the time the hall/pitch is booked from, therefore the time the opposition is required to be there from. Matches will start after a warm up after this time. So if a match is detailed to start at 15.00 please be there and ready to warm up from then. The previous booking may occasionally finish early so you can gain access to warm up earlier than the specified time, but matches won't start till warm ups have occurred for both teams.
Q. Why do I have a Christmas or New Years Day fixture?
A. It is standard practice to move match dates on BUCScore to Christmas or New Years day if there is a problem with venues etc (as nobody plays any matches on those days). It means that the Fixtures and Administration Manager or the away team's AU president cannot currently assign a day and date to the match. All fixtures on BUCScore are only 100% confirmed up to 9 days in advance- everything else is provisional. If you have a home fixture listed on the 25 Dec you need to fill in this form.
Q. The opposition have entered the wrong result. What do I do?
A. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with details of the fixture and the result that you believe should be entered.
Q. I need to rearrange a fixture for a legitimate reason. What do I do?
A. Fill in this form.
Q. How much notice do I need to give if I want to change the date of a fixture?
A. 10 Days as an absolute minimum. You should check all fixture dates with your team as soon as they are published.
