AU Funds: Coaching, Contingency and Safety
The Coaching Fund can be primarily used in two ways; subsidising payment for coaches for hours completed with the club, or contributing to the payment of coaching qualifications such as a UKCC course. If your club is in a position to apply for either of these, please discuss this with the Student Sport Development Manager or complete the form from the Forms and Files page under General Info and submit it to the Athletic Union Office.

Applications for an Allocation of Funds
Clubs can also apply for an allocation of funds for any other reasonable expenditure that a club would like some support with. Using the online form, clubs should provide as much information as possible and ensure the AU Treasurer has up to date copies of the appropriate club budget. Applications can be made at any time throughout the academic year. The Club and Competitions Manager will inform your club of the decision, including any amount awarded within a week of the original application. The necessary paperwork; invoices, receipts, claim forms, etc. will then have to be presented to the Athletic Union office. It is normal for a club to have to contribute part of the cost.
This fund can help clubs in the purchase of essential safety equipment that they would not otherwise be able to afford. Email the Club & Competitions Manager
